Meet Morgan Leigh Kelsey

I was delighted when asked to do these paintings for the Bee Sisterhood Oracle Deck. What an incredible project, and what an honor to be a part of something with so many amazing women!

I listened to recordings of the humming of the hive as I painted the images for the oracle deck. Prior to that, I listened to podcasts about the spiritual aspects and symbolism of the bee. I held the intention and trusted that what needed to come through would be portrayed by my hand for these works. 

Queen

The Queen stands in her sovereign power, wearing her regal crown and clutching her sunflower staff, a source of pollen. Behind her is the honeycomb.

Nurse Bee

The Nurse Bee is ready to feed and tend to the children. She secretes the royal jelly for the Queen. She is shown here in flight, a very busy bee, ready to complete all the tasks at hand!
