I let the tears drip down my face and drop into the turquoise paint. Each turquoise stroke made me feel lighter and brighter and pretty soon I found myself in a state of gratitude for having had Sparkle been in my life.

I had been blessed with the opportunity to be creative during a time of deep grief, although when I began this process, I wasn’t into that grief just yet.

I am a beginner beekeeper, this is my second year keeping bees and I am constantly in awe of them. “
