  • Created by a passionate collective of artists and spiritual seekers, The Bee Sisterhood Oracle embodies the Sacred Essence of the Bee and its divine connection to the Universe. It weaves together the realms of nature and spirituality, inviting seekers to embark on a transformative journey of body, mind, and spirit.


    Many of us have seen the results of generational dependency on government assistance. It dampens the soul. Our intention is to help as many women as we can to avoid falling into that trap.   • The Bee Sisterhood Oracle began as the intersection between two passions: beekeeping (and the spirituality around it) and women supporting women. 


    A former schoolteacher, project founder Jackie Rushton has led a women’s spirituality group in southeast Michigan for over 30 years. In that time she has many times witnessed women in need of a helping hand. She helped when and where she could, but as an individual her resources were limited. 


    Jackie started playing with the idea of creating a bee oracle deck way back in 2016. Her original concept was simple. An oracle deck would be an ideal interactive tool to help teach the spiritual lessons of the beehive. And, proceeds from selling the decks could fund mini-grants for women.


    Quickly, she drafted out the forty-eight cards and what they meant. She knew she would need an artist to collaborate with. The project went dormant for a while, until Jackie met one who began work on the deck in 2019. However, the project stalled again due to life circumstances—until the artist suggested bringing in more artists to help complete the deck. 


    That turned out to be a magic moment. 


    Once word started to spread, it didn’t take long for enough women to raise their hands, eager to contribute art for the sake of bees and women in community.
